Klink & Klank is a casual local multiplayer mobile game in which multiple players compete to gather coins of their respective colors from the middle, while using other objects to hinder or help others while changing the state of the game.
Made in collaboration with Viro, a social enterprise in Bruges that supports people with disabilities and psychological vulnerabilities. Klink & Klank is a game that seeks to bring together those in their care through an engaging and enjoyable activity.
There were 10 of us working on this project, Alice Karavotas, Robby Roodhuyzen de Vries and I primarily worked on the design and helped with development. Whereas Lander Van den Eede, Mats Roelandt and Guillano Colpaert worked on development, Bee Badea, Julie Van Loonand Senna Cloet on the art, and finally, with Ana Nunez as our project manager and producer.
My early work on Klink & Klank revolved around designing the basic concept of the game and our initial item selections, while later on my work shifted towards improving item identity, clarity, game feel and player feedback.
